Pharmacological effects L-carnitine orotin is an ionic complex salt formed by pharmacologically active L-carnitine and orotic acid. It is easier to absorb than the original forms of L-carnitine and orotic acid after entering the body. Orotic acid can normalize the proliferation of liver cells and the liver enzyme system. L-carnitine, as a biological stimulant of fat metabolism, can promote the oxidation process of free fatty acids in the liver. L-carnitine lactate can play an effective role as a pro-fat factor It can be used in the adjuvant treatment of various diseases such as hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, fatty liver, liver poisoning, and liver function damage caused by alcohol.
preparation (1) dissolve 156g(1mol) of orotic acid in 2000mL of water, raise the temperature to 80 ℃, add 1.2mol of ammonia water with a mass percentage concentration of 25% under stirring, keep the above temperature for 1.5 hours, after the reaction is completed, concentrate, cool down and crystallide, and filter to obtain ammonium orotic acid salt;(2) Add the obtained ammonium salt of rootate to 2700mL of ethanol aqueous solution, where the mass percentage of ethanol is 10%, raise the temperature to 80 ℃ to dissolve the clear lactic acid salt, then add 241.8g of L-carnitine, keep the temperature at this temperature for 3 hours, cool down to 0 ℃, precipitate the product, and filter to obtain 296g of L-carnitine lactate. After liquid phase detection, the retention time of the product was compared with the L-carnitine lactinate standard, and the product was determined to be L-carnitine lactinate. The content was determined by liquid phase naturalization method: Agilent 1100 high performance liquid chromatography was used. The liquid column used was Agilent SB C8(150mm × 4.6mm, 5 μm), mobile phase: 0.02mol/L phosphoric acid solution, flow rate: 1.0 ml/min, temperature: 30 ℃, detection wavelength: 254nm, retention time of L-carnitine lactate: 4.95 minutes, yield of 93.4%, and L-carnitine lactate content of 99.5%.
